On behalf of IPPS Southern Region North America, thank you for visiting our website! “To seek and share plant production knowledge” is our goal, and we welcome green industry professionals and students from around the globe to join in this effort.
As we celebrate our 45th year, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to represent horticulture growers, researchers, entrepreneurs and students from across the southeastern United States. With the support of a wise executive committee and generous sponsors, IPPS Southern Region is able cultivate an experience that benefits all who participate.
Each year, IPPS-SR extends a chance to learn from industry experts and tour world class nurseries, public gardens and applied science research areas during the annual meeting. Travelling to a different part of the southeastern US every year, attendees are introduced to practical and diverse aspects of horticulture. Make plans now to attend the 2020 IPPS-SR annual meeting in Tulsa, OK October 24-28.
The mission of IPPS globally is to connect plant production professionals in a meaningful way, no matter your experience level. The Southern Region offers special benefits to students including FREE MEMEBERSHIP. in addition to the annual Vivian Munday Scholarships and Charlie Parkerson Student Research Competition.
Young professionals are afforded a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity through the Early Career International Exchange Program. Members 35 years and younger are encouraged to apply for this annual professional development experience and learn from nursery professionals abroad.
