PROGRAM DETAILS: 2020 IPPS SR Meeting in Tulsa, OK

Todd will introduce the 2020 Annual Meeting, focusing on destinations, conference facilities, and fun and festivities that will await all who travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tulsa is a vibrant city in northeastern Oklahoma, the second largest metropolitan area in the state, boasting a metro population just shy of 1,000,000.Tulsa is regionally known as a city that values its cultural venues, supporting a performing arts center, ballet, opera, zoo, symphony, aquarium, air and space museum, two internationally renowned museums, a world-class park, and a new botanic garden. Expect to be amazed by the horticultural diversity of Tulsa and surrounding areas!

BIO: Todd is a well-known public garden professional, plantsman, and speaker. He serves as President and CEO of Tulsa Botanic Garden, a new public garden showcasing gardens and plants thriving in the tough climate of northeastern Oklahoma (zone 7a/6b). Prior, Todd was executive director of Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden (Kernersville, NC) and assistant director of the JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University. Todd holds a Bachelor’s in Horticulture from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a M.S. in Horticulture Science from University of Georgia, and a Ph.D. in Horticultural Science from NC State University.Todd is native to Thibodaux, Louisiana.
