PROGRAM DETAILS: Opportunity to Grow: Potential Roles for the Nursery Industry in Transformational Landscape Project Partnerships.

The successes of leading public landscape projects like New York’s High Line park that feature extensive, diverse plantings have encouraged municipal and commercial clients alike to commit to similar inspirational designs…and then reality sets in as the sourcing process begins, or as the contract growing relationship breaks down. As a professional with a substantial presence in the design community but with longtime connections to the nursery industry, Patrick will review these challenges, describe a range of opportunities for collaboration, and engage participants with regards to their recommendations for mutually beneficial partnerships.
