Interested in Biologicals, WHY? This program will offer insights to understand how biologicals work; how they work best. Pests and pathogens, both above and below the ground, can be reliably controlled with biologicals. Timing, application, compatibility, storage will be discussed. You know what you are up against; today biologicals can and do work alongside chemicals and are a valuable tool to have in the IPM toolbox.
Bio: Chris started working with biologicals at Cornell University last century. He left to help start BioWorks over 25 years ago using microbial technology developed at Cornell and has held various positions while at BioWorks. He is currently Senior Biological Solutions Advisor for the SE USA & Mexico. Chris has traveled extensively throughout North America, building the practical experience to teach and guide growers how to get the most out of biological control programs. In a world that uses many chemicals, Chris is a recognized industry resource for growers helping them succeed and thrive in their unique business operations.
